SEO & GEO Specialist (internship)
Pick up a lot of online marketing experience in a short time. And develop yourself enormously, by being thrown in at the deep end and by helping to build a field that is moving fast right now.
About the role
As an SEO & GEO Specialist intern at Indicia you make sure our clients get found. Not only in Google, but also in AI search engines and assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. You run technical and editorial SEO analyses, do keyword and prompt research, optimise content and structure, and look into how brands are mentioned and quoted in AI answers.
What will you do?
As part of the online marketing team you spar with the colleagues around you, looking for the right balance between online marketing channels, so that together you get to the best possible result. You also enjoy sharing and broadening your knowledge, especially because there is still so much to discover in GEO.
Who are you?
You are studying a relevant degree in online marketing at a university of applied sciences (Marketing Management, Speco, Digital Business Concepts, Business Economics, Communication);
You have an excellent command of Dutch and English, and you like writing;
You are strong analytically and familiar with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console;
You are curious about how AI search engines work and you regularly use tools like ChatGPT or Perplexity yourself;
You spot opportunities that add to the result, without being asked;
You have a feel for SEO, content and the technical side (knowing tools like Screaming Frog, Semrush or Ahrefs is a plus);
You work and think at bachelor level.
What do you get?
We have an informal atmosphere with room for personal growth.
We offer a varied client portfolio with big brands and great companies.
There is room to work on your own assignments as well as on our projects.
We are proud of our creative, dynamic and professional working environment;
We have a great team that works hard and laughs a lot. Nice colleagues to have a drink with now and then;
We are based in the heart of Tilburg, walking distance from the station and in the lively Spoorzone.

Working at Indicia
You send your application through the vacancy page. We get back to you within five working days. If there is a match, you come in for an introduction, followed by an in-depth conversation with the team and often a short case or technical challenge.
We work hybrid. Teams agree among themselves when they come into the office; working from home is the norm for focused work. Locations and hours are listed with each vacancy.
Not always. For a lot of roles we are looking for expertise or skill in software, data, design or consulting. You build your AI knowledge at Indicia. Vacancies say explicitly when AI experience is a must.
