About the role
Do you want to take ownership of our own software products? And do you like the freedom to set the direction yourself? Then you might be the Product Manager Software we are looking for.
What will you do?
You make sure our software products keep moving forward. As Product Manager Software you own the roadmap for three different products: one in financial services, one insurance product and an AI product that we take to market both internally and externally. You translate market developments, customer feedback and internal signals into clear priorities and a concrete release plan. You make sharp choices about what we do and do not build, and you get new versions to users quickly and carefully.
You work closely with developers, data and AI specialists and commercial colleagues. That way, what we build, what we take to market and what users actually need all line up. At the same time you keep an eye on the technical quality and maintainability of our products. Unlike our project managers and product owners, you are not working on client projects with an end date, but on our own products that stay around for years. And because this role is new, you have all the room you need to shape it yourself and give product management a place within Indicia.
Who are you?
You have at least 3 years of experience as a product manager, product owner or in a similar role (medior and up).
You have experience taking software products further, not just delivering projects.
You know how to work with roadmaps and releases, and how to set a release rhythm and hold on to it.
You are good at prioritising, explaining your choices and saying no when that is what is needed.
