Junior Technical Project Manager
Are you technically minded, fond of structure, and do you have an affinity with WordPress? Do you enjoy picking up technical projects on your own and getting stuck in? Then we are looking for you!
About the role
Do you want to help keep hundreds of WordPress websites safe, stable and efficient? And do you get energy from technical challenges, bringing structure, and getting things done yourself? Apply now and come on board at Indicia Stuurlui!
What will you do?
As Junior Technical Project Manager at Stuurlui, you and your colleagues keep our entire WordPress portfolio safe, stable and up to date.
You work in our Management & Support department on internal technical projects that improve, secure and streamline how we look after our websites.
Think of carrying out WordPress and PHP updates, improving our monitoring, putting security measures in place, and tightening our management processes.
In this role you do not only organise and coordinate projects. You carry them out as well. You enjoy digging into technical problems, checking settings and making improvements. Sometimes that means a few hours of focused work, going through websites, checking settings or working through checklists. You take that kind of work on carefully, and you enjoy it.
You do not have to be able to solve every technical issue yourself, but you understand how websites and hosting work, you like getting into technical subjects, and you know when to call in a specialist.
You work closely with our DevOps engineers, developers and support specialists. You keep the overview, you communicate clearly, and you make sure projects are carried out carefully and finished properly.
Who are you?
You have an affinity with IT, websites and preferably WordPress.
You work in a highly structured, careful and precise way.
You are a doer: you enjoy carrying out the work at least as much as organising it.
You have the patience and focus to carry out repetitive work carefully too.
You are analytical, proactive and solution-oriented.
You enjoy digging into technical questions and learning new things.
You communicate clearly and you make sure agreements are kept.
You can work independently, and you also like working with colleagues.
You have completed an mbo or hbo programme, or you work and think at a comparable level.
Experience with technical project management, WordPress, hosting or IT management is a plus, not a requirement.
What do you get?
A varied working week of 32 hours.
A technical environment where you can learn a lot from experienced specialists.
Plenty of freedom and responsibility to pick up projects yourself and carry them out.
Room to develop further towards technical project management, DevOps or IT management.
A team of enthusiastic colleagues who want to deliver top quality together.

We work hybrid. Teams agree among themselves when they come into the office; working from home is the norm for focused work. Locations and hours are listed with each vacancy.
Not always. For a lot of roles we are looking for expertise or skill in software, data, design or consulting. You build your AI knowledge at Indicia. Vacancies say explicitly when AI experience is a must.
